Yeah, I think with the M-Stak they recommend staying extremely hydrated because it can cause severe stomach aches and headaches.

If you are uneducated about supplements and etc, then yes, many things you see at the store are complete wastes of money. But if you know what you are taking, and you know it works, then how is it overrated? A protein shake gives you protein. A "pump supplement" gives you creatines, NO boosters, cell volumizers, energy complex, antioxidants. An anabolic supplement helps with protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and nutrient-partitioning.

I don't know how any of that is overrated. If you know what you are buying, it's going to work.

Protein: Steak, egg, milk, etc.
Creatines: Bread, Rice

Personally I follow Wade Boggs' routine... I eat a whole chicken before every game.

Multi-Vitamin
Fish Oil
Green Tea
ON Protein.

My boss just got back from a muscletech convention and she gave me over 600 bucks of **** for free. I dont really use any of it, but I figure I will try. She gave me 4 bottles of Nano Vapor, 3 bottles of Hydroxycut hardcore, some anabolic samples, and then 3 bottles of hydroxycut max.
Im going to start on a bottle of hydroxycut hardcore this monday. My target weight is about 10 pounds which I should be able to drop.

really so you get 280g of protein everyday from steak, eggs, and milk?  You must eat filet mignon everyday then, along with a **** load of eggs and a **** load of milk.  And you get most of your creatine from meats, btw, not wheats and grains.

and I really hope you don't eat an entire chicken before a game...and if you do I hope it's at least cooked in a healthy way

If I'm not mistaken, creatine is similar to carbs, which provide energy. But I'm not a health expert.

And no I don't eat steak everyday, I was just using an example. And I eat a rotissare baked chicken before every game. Not a large one, one of those regular sized ones you can pick up ready to go at a grocery.

However I did pull a Pedro Cerrano once during an important game and ate a bucket of KFC... Yeah by the 4th inning I was falling asleep at the plate...

And I eat a lot of eggs, I drink milk often. I keep my diet simple, none of that GNC hippie stuff.

I don't go to GNC because they price their **** to make a 300% profit and 90% of their products are ****.

Pretty much every supplement I take is 100% worth it. It's not hippie stuff. I will get stronger and faster because of hard work and all the supplements I use.

ok. first of all you have no idea what you are talking about. every pro athlete takes some form of supplements. barry bonds took steroid/hgh which is completely different than supplements. and if you think your getting enuff protein form your daily intake of food your a ****ing retard.

LOL. Relax man! I was JOKING. I know the difference between steroids, greenies, etc. It's how he worded it that I found funny "I'm gonna take supplements and get strong!" which is fine, no harm there, like I said, it's HOW he phrased it that I found humor in it.

Lastly, you don't have to call me a ****ing retard. And another thing, like I said, I'm not a huge health freak, I don't care, nor now how much protein I take in.

I don't see the advantages of taking all these supplements you all talk about. If you wanna take them, that's fine, but you look at players back in the day that didn't take ****.

Ted Williams drank nothing stronger than a milkshake and look at his accomplishments. Ruth did it on hotdogs and beer. While I'm sure supplements keep you in better health, give you energy, etc for life.

I see no scientific evidence of gain in baseball ability, which is where I'd be concerned the most considering it's my profession.

So since I'm doing real good with what I got, I'm not gonna fix something if it ain't broke.

Did you ever stop and think that all players today use supplements and are healthier than players back in the day? I bet there aren't many players from back in the day that could have nearly as much success if they played now.

Human now > Humans then

the human race is stronger and faster now because of scientific advances

Oh without a doubt, but I'm not talking like 80 years into the past.

Good example, Nolan Ryan, played for 26 years in the bigs, threw 7 no-hitters, one when he was well into his 40s. He didn't take these supplements, he worked out a lot.

People like Dennis Eckersley, Catfish Hunter, and the people of the more recent era, while probably most of them smoked illegal greenies, didn't use all this supplements, and I'm sure they could still hold their own against players of today.

And again, I have nothing against these supplements, I personally just don't see the advantage in them.

The only times I will buy stuff from GNC is when the sell date is past and the price drops like 75%.  That's how I got my frist 7 lbs of Pro Complex

but yeah man...you still gonna hook me up with some of that free **** you got lol if you don't use much of it, pass it on man...

Yeah man anything you don't want I'll buy it from you, or at least pay for the shipping.  I'll even buy the Hydroxycut from you if you don't plan on using all of it, because I'm trying to lose weight.
