Indians manager Eric Wedge plans to play Mark DeRosa every day at third base. That is the plan for now but the Indians also admit they like DeRosa's versatility and it's not impossible that he could end up back in the outfield, CBSSports.com reported. The website reported that the Indians don't have a set left fielder, and if none of the candidates impress, one option is to move DeRosa to left, with Jhonny Peralta moving from shortstop to third base and Asdrubal Cabrera moving from second to short. Josh Barfield or Jamey Carroll would then become an option at second base. DeRosa was acquired in an offseason trade with the Cubs.
